Most the fluid milk products sold in Alberta is NOT UHT.
Ultra-high Temperature pasteurization is not used for fresh milk products in Alberta nor Canada. With the abundance of refrigeration used in Canada consumers prefer the taste of lower temperature pasteurized products that combine with refrigeration are of high quality and do not have the taste normally associated with UHT products. There is some UHT creamer based products sold in single portion cups used in the food service industry but be assured the fresh dairy products are not UHT.
