Nothing is added to milk in Canada for preservation.

The only thing that is added is

  • Vitamin D to all varieties of white milk.
  • Vitamin A is added only to skim and partly (partially) skimmed milks.
  • Evaporated and powdered milks have similar requirements for vitamin addition. As well, Vitamin C is required to be added to evaporated milks. 

Other than those vitamins, nothing else but essential nutrients are found in milk! Not even added  hormones or antibiotics. So drink up, we’ll make more.
