3 tbsp (45 ml) brown sugar
Simple Sautéed Bananas in an Orange Sauce
1 tbsp (15 ml) butter
2 tbsp (30 ml) frozen orange juice concentrate
1 tbsp (15 ml) brown sugar
3 bananas

  1. In a large bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, spices and chia seeds.
  2. In a medium bowl, mix together the milk, pumpkin, egg, oil, vinegar and brown sugar. Then add to the flour bowl (#1), gently mixing until just combined.
  3. Heat a large frying pan to get your pan hot! Then turn down stovetop to medium heat. Grease your pan, then pour batter onto pan to make small circles to your desired size (~1/4 cup batter). Brown on both sides. Enjoy while hot!
  4. Top with Simple Sautéed Bananas in an Orange Sauce
