Perfect Whipped Cream

1 cup (250 mL) whipping cream
1 tbsp (15 mL) sugar
1 tsp (5 mL) vanilla extract


  1. Chill a large bowl and beater(s) of an electric hand or stand mixer for roughly 30 minutes in the refrigerator.
  2. Remove bowl and beaters from fridge. Pour cold whipping cream into bowl and beat for approximately 1 minute. Add sugar and vanilla extract.
  3. Continue whipping until stiff peaks start to form. Top fresh fruit or dessert and enjoy.
