Ingredients

Latte
1 1/2 cups (375 ml) Canadian 2% milk
1 tbsp (5 g) gingerbread spice
1 tbsp (5 ml) maple syrup
1/4 cup (60 ml) prepared espresso, hot
Garnish
1/4 cup (60 ml) whipped cream
to taste Gingerbread spice
Gingerbread cookie (optional)

Directions

  1. In a small pot, over medium heat, add milk, gingerbread spice, and maple syrup.
  2. Whisk the mixture for about 3 minutes until it becomes frothy. Set aside.
  3. Pour the espresso into a mug, then top it with the frothed milk mixture.
  4. Garnish with whipped cream, a dash of gingerbread spice, and a small gingerbread cookie, if desired.
Tip
  1. Don’t have gingerbread spice? Combine 1/2 tsp of each cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg, clove, cardamom and all spice.
