Latte
1 1/2 cups | (375 ml) | Canadian 2% milk |
1 tbsp | (5 g) | gingerbread spice |
1 tbsp | (5 ml) | maple syrup |
1/4 cup | (60 ml) | prepared espresso, hot |
Garnish
1/4 cup | (60 ml) | whipped cream |
to taste | Gingerbread spice | |
Gingerbread cookie (optional) |
Directions
- In a small pot, over medium heat, add milk, gingerbread spice, and maple syrup.
- Whisk the mixture for about 3 minutes until it becomes frothy. Set aside.
- Pour the espresso into a mug, then top it with the frothed milk mixture.
- Garnish with whipped cream, a dash of gingerbread spice, and a small gingerbread cookie, if desired.
Tip
- Don’t have gingerbread spice? Combine 1/2 tsp of each cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg, clove, cardamom and all spice.
