Mac and Cheese with Basic White Sauce

2 cups (500 ml) milk
2 cups (500 ml) pasta
2 cups (500 ml) shredded cheddar cheese
salt, to taste
pepper, to taste


  1. In a medium pot, over medium heat, combine milk and pasta.
  2. Bring to a simmer, stirring often, until pasta is cooked (about 13 minutes). Do not drain the pasta.
  3. Stir in shredded cheese until melted. Add salt and pepper to taste. Enjoy!
