This month, DRECA’s Kira Macmillan interviewed Dr. Jeroen De Buck from the University of Calgary Faculty of Veterinary Medicine about diagnosing hypocalcemia. Dr. De Buck discusses the symptoms and consequences of clinical and subclinical hypocalcemia and presents his research and development of a new cow-side blood meter capable of diagnosing subclinical hypocalcemia.
