Ingredients
Beet Beef Burgers
1 lb | (16 oz) | lean ground beef |
1 1/2 cups | (375 ml) | grated beets |
1/4 cup | (60 ml) | feta cheese |
2 tbsp | (30 ml) | Worcestershire sauce |
2 cloves | garlic | |
1 tsp | (5 ml) | oregano |
1 tsp | (5 ml) | basil |
1/2 tsp | (2 ml) | each salt and pepper, approximately |
Feta Spread
1/2 cup | (125 ml) | Greek yogurt |
1/4 cup | (60 ml) | feta cheese |
1 tsp | (5 ml) | oregano |
1 tsp | (5 ml) | basil |
1/2 tsp | (2 ml) | each salt and pepper, approximately |
Directions
- Grate beets and squeeze out extra moisture
- Combine ground beef, grated beets, feta, Worcestershire and spices. Mix well.
- Form ground beef mixture into patties. Squeeze out extra moisture while forming.
- Grill until done (internal temperature of 71⁰C).
- While burgers are grilling, combine Greek yogurt, feta cheese and spices. Mix well.
