Each cow has their own unique personality traits. Some like to be milked first, others last. They have a favorite stall to lie in and some will come up to people to get their head scratched, while others keep their distance.

Some farmers may judge their affection for a cow based on their nature or personality, their conformation, or how much milk they produce. Holsteins are black and white and typically produce a higher volume of milk, while the second most popular breed, Jerseys, are smaller and produce less milk, but it’s higher in fat. On a dairy farm, farmers work with their cows very closely every day so the nature of the cows is very important to them.

So the answer: inconclusive. They are all so different that it’s hard to identify the most loved cow!
