4 (medium) avocados
1 (medium) lime
1 (large) Roma tomato, diced
1/4 (large) red onion, diced
3 tbsp (45 ml) 2% plain yogurt
1/2 tsp (2 ml) salt
1/4 cup (60 ml) cilantro, chopped (optional)


  1. Scoop out the flesh from four avocados and add to a medium bowl. Mash avocados with a fork.
  2. Squeeze the juice of one lime over the avocados. Continue to mash the avocados and lime together. The lime juice adds flavour and helps prevent the avocados from browning.
  3. Mix in the Roma tomato, red onion, yogurt, salt and cilantro (if using). Serve with a variety of guacamole dippers.
