DIY Fruit on the Bottom Yogurt

2 cups (500 ml) frozen mixed berries (or fruit or your choice)
1 tbsp (15 ml) sugar
2 tbsp (30 ml) water
1 tsp (5 ml) cornstarch
4 cups (1L) plain yogurt (I would recommend 2%)


  1. Mix berries, sugar, water and cornstarch in a small pot.
  2. Place over medium heat and cook until the fruit has softened and the sauce has thickened, about 5-10 minutes. Cool completely.
  3. Place 2 tbsp (30 ml) of fruit sauce in the bottom of a container or jar. Top with 1/2 cup (125 ml) of plain yogurt.
  4. Enjoy! Or top with granola when ready to eat.
