The Dairy Research and Extension Consortium of Alberta (DRECA) is supported by Alberta Milk, Alberta Agriculture and Forestry, Alberta Veterinary Medical Association, Lakeland College, the University of Alberta, and the University of Calgary.

DRECA encourages and facilitates collaboration in dairy production research, extension and education activities targeted for Alberta dairy producers and industry service providers. DRECA is responsible for the delivery of research extension, knowledge and skill building in support of proAction and delivery of various herd health management programs.
