Corporate Communications Coordinator - This is a temporary, one year maternity leave coverage position.
Reporting to the General Manager, the Corporate Communications Coordinator will assist the GM in the delivering of strategies, messaging and will be responsible for their implementation, including communications with the Alberta Milk Board of Directors, members, government officials, industry partners and stakeholders and the media. The duties will include:
Researching, writing, and editing integrated internal and external communication pieces such as news releases, brochures, ads, presentation materials, speeches, web content, general correspondence feature articles and stories, newsletters,annual reports, board briefings, etc. Click here for a full position description.
This position requires bachelor’s degree in communications, journalism, public relations or related field or college diploma in public relations. The ideal candidate will have a high degree of professionalism and the ability to deal with all levels of government and industry in an expeditious and diplomatic manner. It is necessary to have superior editing and writing skills. A background in or understanding of the agriculture industry would be an asset. The salary range for this position is $64,697- $84,106 per year.
